In 2008 Diamond Select Toys in partnership with EMCE Toys released two waves of "retro clothed" Planet of the Apes action figures.

These figures were based on the original Mego figures, with some minor manufacturing differences and are commonly referred to as "retro" figures.

These were extremely close reproductions of the originals except they had 14 points of articulation and retro-styled re-sealable packaging.

Please note that the back of the blister packaging has a small line of residue from where the figure was stuck to a wall to display. Otherwise the figure is in great condition.
