Ghostbusters is a 1984 science fiction film directed and written by Ivan Reitman, Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis. The story follows eccentric parapsychologists and professors who, after losing their research grant from their University in New York, set up a company specializing in cases of supernatural apparitions. 

Gozer the Gozerian, also called the Destroyer, is an extradimensional demonic entity. Gozer was worshiped as a god by the Hittites, Mesopotamians, and the Sumerians around 6000 BC. Gozer is genderless and has two trusted minions that are the harbingers of destruction and primary agents for its arrival - Vinz Clortho, the Keymaster, and Zuul, the Gatekeeper. Gozer manifests first in the form of a woman (Slavitza Jovan), then assumed the form of the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man.
